Armed with a BA in English and a certificate from Berkeley Film Institute, I began my writing career directing and writing environmental documentaries for technology, education and conservation organizations.
I wrote film proposals that procured private and government funding, film scripts that tied existing footage together with updated interviews, and narration that translated science and technology for general audiences.
